Problem of bad roads was solved in Adigeni

Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Mr. Tengiz hergelashvili, together with the Governor of  Samtskhe-Javakheti region Akaki Machutadze inspected the projects in Adigeni municipality financed from the Highmountain Community Development Fund and Regional Development Fund during 2013-2016.

5 234 547 GEL have been allocated from  the Regional Development Fund and 274 721  GEL have been allocated from  the Highmountain Community Development Fund to enhance road infrastructure of Adigeni. This amount was spent for rehabilitation of the connection roads of the villages (23 settlements).

During the selection of the projects for financing, special attention was paid to the streets, which has never been paved with asphalt, or was so damaged that it was impossible to move.

At present, this problem is solved and the local people (8770 citizen) can walk and drive in the streets and on the village roads without any problem.
