Nodar Javakhishvili met the Iranian Ambassador to Georgia

Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Nodar Javakhishvili, met the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Georgia, Mr Abas Talebi Far.

The meeting was focused on enhancing cooperation between the two countries in the field of infrastructure. The Iranian ambassador said, a number of Iranian companies are interested in investing in Georgia, and this is important for development as Iranian as Georgian economic. Abas Talebi Far also expressed the hope that the embargo will be lifted for Iran, and after the cancellation of the sanctions, the Iranian companies will be able to implement serious projects in Georgia. The Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia introduced to Iranian ambassador important infrastructure projects. The meeting also underlined the need to develop relations in trade-economic sphere.
