Zurab Alavidze introduced the Governor of Mstkheta-Mtianeti

Mtkheta-Mtianeti region has a new State Representative – Governor. Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia – Zurab Alavidze presented Levan Zautashvili to the position. The new governor has officially started working today.

According to the Ministers statement, Mstkheta-Mtianeti region is an interesting and specific with historical monuments and mountain resort zones. The region has a significant potential for development - stated Minister Alavidze

“ Region has new challenges and  I am confident that Levan’s activities will be very effective, he will succeed in fulfilling his obligations and make important steps for economic development of the region”- stated Minister.

Levan Zautashvili was the Director General of “Castel Georgia” in 2013-2017. He also worked in The World Bank projects. Levan graduated from the International University of Indianapolis and Tbilisi State University.
