Zurab Alavidze – Enormous infrastructure projects are planned to be carried out and we are interested that Georgian construction sector meets this process readily

Zurab Alavidze met members of Tax Payers Union and Construction Association. Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia introduced ongoing and planned projects to the representatives of construction companies. The meeting continued in question and response format where gapes related to design, construction and supervision were discussed. The attendees paid special attention to sticking to deadlines and quality while performing the project.
“Hundreds of projects are being carried out across municipalities. Even more are planned to start this year. Our budget increased in around half million GEL, which means that huge scale of infrastructure works will be carried out in the next years. It is especially important for use that Georgian construction sector gets ready for this process and meetings like this are one of the best means for getting ready; here, at this meeting, we can share views. We are fully open fro cooperation and interested that all the companies that have relevant experience, be involved in construction process as much as possible” – Mr. Alavidze said.
