At the meeting parties discussed of roads rehabilitation of modern models

First Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Finance of Georgia - Dimitry Kumsishvili  and the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia - Zurab Alavidze met with the Global Infrastructure Projects Implementing Group of the World Bank (GIF) , while working visit to the United States.
At the meeting parties discussed the model of operation and maintenance sustainability of the East-West Highway Corridor.
“We are considering the best international experience, in order to take better care of our infrastructure and thus our citizens will receive fully operational road infrastructure." - stated Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia - Zurab Alavidze.
This organization, in cooperation with the World Bank, is Implementing a project in Georgia which foresees capacity study of East-West New highway.
